Permata — the Malay word for gem — was chosen deliberately. A gem, like a well-tended estate, holds meaning across generations. It does not diminish in the passing; if anything, it deepens.
The practice was established in Kuala Lumpur to serve families who found that estate and inheritance matters were too often handled with impatience or jargon. The founders wanted something different: a firm where conversations moved at the pace the family needed, not the pace that suited the practitioner.
Today, Permata serves clients across the Klang Valley — from individuals sitting down to draft their first wasiat, to families navigating the sometimes complex terrain of estate administration after a bereavement. Each matter is taken on with the same intention: clarity, discretion, and genuine care.

Called to the Malaysian Bar, Ahmad leads estate planning and probate matters, with a particular focus on matters involving both civil and syariah frameworks.

Nurul oversees administration and probate support engagements, ensuring documentation is prepared carefully and families are guided at every procedural stage.

Civil Estate Specialist
David handles civil estate matters under the Distribution Act and related legislation, with experience assisting multi-generational Malaysian-Chinese families with cross-asset planning.

Our practice is centred in TTDI, Kuala Lumpur, and we serve families from across the Klang Valley. Appointments are available Monday to Friday, with Saturday morning sessions for those who cannot attend on weekdays.
